Vest Racing LLC was started in October 2008 by Troy and
Liane Vest when they became the proud team owners of an
off road desert racing Protruck. Vest Racing operates out
of their race shop in Molalla, Oregon,
approximately 35 miles south of Portland.
In February 2009, Vest Racing attended their very first
off road desert event, the Bluewater Parker 425, put on by
the Best In The Desert Racing Association (BITD).
They have also competed in races held by the Southern
California Off Road Enthusiasts (SCORE),
the Southern Nevada Off Road Enthusiasts (SNORE)
and the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC).
These races all take place in Southern Nevada, Arizona and
Southern California, with the exception of Pikes Peak,
which is held in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Vest Racing team is very proud of their 2010 dream
season! The team earned 3 championships in one year; 2010
Baja Protruck Championship, 2010 Best in the Desert
Championship, and 2010 SCORE Championship. Troy was also
awarded the Bilstein Award for 2010.

2011 brought another Best in the
Desert Championship to Vest Racing! The team competed
only in the BITD series for 2011. Winning back to back
championships is quite a reward for all of the team's
hard work through out the season. The Vest Racing Team
is very competitive, dedicated and works extremely
hard preparing for each race. Our pit crew is second
to none and is very focused on giving Troy and the
truck the support he needs at every stop. The team is
comprised of family and friends from Oregon, Nevada,
Arizona and California.
